But I am doing it and it is working fine, just more work than I would like. So that make the SSD/Logic mixer routing more difficult. Logic 10.5 won't allow SSD to create all the multi-output options, it only allows a couple. SSD's mixer routing is a pain, made more so because I use the Producer+ kits in Logic Drummer and break out SSD drum tracks the same way. But it is far better than what I was doing for long time, dragging Midi from Logic Drummer to SSD drum tracks one drum at a time. However, SSD has many more articulations than Logic Drummer, so its full capability can't be utilized when tied to a Logic Drummer map. Now, SSD plays the same drums as Logic Drummer. Mapping SSD to Logic Drummer has been a problem, but I finally figured out how to do that and made a Logic Drummer template in SSD that I can call up and use. However, like you, I am not always crazy about some of the drum sounds and use SSD to fortify or replace them. Since I am not a drummer, I love what Logic Drummer does in terms of creating great, realistic drum patterns that fit the music well. Not sure I have made any great discoveries, but I have made some progress. I have been working on integrating these two drum programs for awhile now.
